Guided Hikes
Our three-hour hikes are led by trained excursion leaders. They not only know the characteristic animals and plants, they also give information about history and traditions. The Leitha Range hikes lead to the most beautiful landscape areas between the mountain and the lake.

In the programme: guided medicinal-herb discovery hikes, nature study and culturally historic hikes to the themes of cultural landscape, geology, ecology, ornithology and archaeology.

Cycling Paradise
The excellently signposted B12 Cherry Blossom Cycle Path leads through Purbach and its impressive landscape at the foot of the Leitha Range: ambitious cyclists are offered what is a demanding route by Pannonian standards, but with a marvellous panoramic view far into the Hungarian lowlands over Lake Neusiedl. Numerous display boards give information on a 40-kilometre route about the unique aspects of culture and landscapes.

The tour passes vineyards and thousands of cherry trees, which - according to weather - transform the region into a lovely sea of white blossoms from the middle of April to the middle of May and make the journey an unforgettable experience.

Solar Heated Swimming Pool
The Türkenhain solar heated swimming pool is a great attraction. With the solar heated adventure pool, the 35-metre adventure slide, the white-water current channel and the bottom bubbler, visitors experience the pinnacle of bathing pleasure. The extensive sunbathing lawn offers peace and recuperation. Moreover, the children's pools and two beach-volleyball courts make the bathing area interesting for the young and the youngest of visitors.

Further recreation- and sports facilities are adjacent: skating rink, large children's playground with a climbing wall, tennis courts, boat hire, cycle hire, inline skate hire, sailing tours on the catamaran Finiki, pit pat, Nordic walking, etc.

Yacht Harbour / Boat Harbour
A great deal of pride is attributed locally to the well-equipped yacht harbour. It offers the capacity for 100 sailing vessels. Its proximity to the town centre and the possibility to moor a boat in a quiet harbour area is especially valued by sailors.
